Our ophthalmologists serve the eye care needs of South Carolinians, from conducting routine eye exams to managing complex and high risk surgical eye problems. In addition to our strong emphasis on primary eye care and prevention of blindness, we offer a full range of subspecialty services.

Our subspecialty care includes neuro-ophthalmology (dealing with nerve abnormalities) and pediatric ophthalmology, as well as treatment of corneal disorders, retina diseases, and glaucoma. We also provide diabetic eye care, low vision services, cornea and cataract surgery, and cosmetic lid procedures (to correct excessive skin around the eyes).

For patients who want to reduce their dependence on glasses and contact lenses, we offer LASIK and LASEK vision correction surgery, and the latest technological advancement, Zyoptix, which can, in some patients, add levels of clarity that were not possible only a short time ago. The laser procedures reshape the cornea to change the focusing power of the eye.

The Optical Department is conveniently located next to our practice, providing patients with a wide range of choices in eyeglasses and contact lenses.

Patients may call for routine eye care or subspecialty appointments.
