Dr. Angela Abraham brought more than 10 years of clinical experience to the
USC School of
Medicine when she accepted an appointment with the Department of Ophthalmology
in 2007. She came to USC from Wright Eye Institute and Vision Research Center
in Orangeburg, South Carolina, where she was CEO and Director. Her employment
also included positions as Chief of Optometry at Family Health Centers, Inc.,
in Orangeburg, and Clinical Coordinator for Refractive Surgery at The Eye Center,
in Columbia, South Carolina.
Dr. Abraham is board certified in optometry. Her special interests are pediatric
and family comprehensive eye care, specialty contact lens fitting, rural eye
care and health disparities.
